This three year project, started in 2018 and based on women killed by men during 2018 according to the records of Karen Ingala Smith who has been 'Counting Dead Women' since 2012 (https://kareningalasmith.com/2018/03/10/2018/)

Research

Each vessel represents a woman killed in 2018 by a man. Each death has been researched to find out how she was killed and this is reflected in the vessel representing that woman.

This project was initially intended as a two year project however, due to court cases often taking several months, and lockdown due to Covid it has been three years in the making.
